The Italian American Police Association (IAPA) has officially announced its endorsement of Dave Condron for Judge of the Cook County Circuit Court, 19th Subcircuit. In a letter dated February 11, 2026, the IAPA Executive Board highlighted Condron’s unique qualifications, noting he is the only candidate in the race with both civil and criminal litigation experience.

With over two decades of courtroom experience—more than any other candidate in the field—Condron’s background includes a decade as an Assistant State’s Attorney handling financial and violent felony crimes, as well as his current work representing the City of Chicago in civil rights litigation. The Association praised his “legal acumen,” “work ethic,” and deep-rooted community involvement in local youth athletics as key factors in their support.
